1. Choose a colour palette for your wedding. Pick colours that compliment eachother, and ones that you can incorporate throughout your big day - flowers, shoes, accessories, groomsmen attire etc...
2. Decide on either short or long lengths. Having at least the same length in your mismatched dresses will still create a nice balance and look best in photos.
3. Once you start to find dresses you like, create a mood board. Cut out photos and place them together to see how you like the look of them as a group. Try on samples and ask to see fabric swatches.
