02.15.2014

Jill & Taylor were married in lovely February ceremony at the Mackenzie Art Gallery, followed by a reception at the RCMP Heritage Center.

When RCMP Officer Taylor Mills was posted to Fort Qu'Appelle, he rented the home next door to Jill's family cabin - she was literally the girl next door. After two years of friendship, Taylor finally asked Jill on a date, thus the beginning of their love story. Two and a half years later they were engaged, and another year after, married.

Here is their day in photos...

Jill chose her dress with the help of Amanda of NWL. Together they decided not only on her dress, but also those of the bridesmaids and her accessories.

Congratulations Jill & Taylor, Thank-you for sharing your love story!

Carey Shaw Photography

If you are in the midst of planning your wedding, one major decision you will have to make, is who will photograph the big day. It is essential to find someone whose style fits the mood you want to portray or story you want to tell. Carey Shaw is revered by many for her soft, romantic & ethereal style of shooting. She has developed a flair for capturing the perfect candid moments, leaving her clients with a beautiful collection of photos, illustrating their love story.

"I have always loved photographing people and their stories. I started my professional career twelve years ago, after graduating from the Alberta College of Art + Design. I began my career shooting magazine editorial, and over the years have enjoyed the transition of adding lifestyle and wedding photography to my portfolio. I work to create images that are honest and beautiful. Through conversation and ease, I try my best to make my clients feel comfortable with me, and behind my camera. I want my images to tell a story that will be still enjoyed 50 years from now." - Carey Shaw
