Blush Beauty Bar - Wedding Makeup

Two of our favourites for bridal makeup is the boudoir & natural eye
collections by Too Faced Cosmetics. Bridal Beauty Tip: Natural Eyes won
the Brides Magazine beauty award for best palette for the Big Day! Look
naturally gorgeous with nine neutral shades or combine them with any of
the soft and sexy shades in Boudoir Eyes to create your own customized
look for the big day, the bedroom and beyond!

Makeup from Too Faced and The In Love Collection from Lollia.
(Classic petals...delicate infusions of Apple Blossom kissed sweetly by
Jasmine, floating upon the breath of truest Living Rose.)

Choosing a new fragrance to wear for the first time on your wedding day is
an important detail not to overlook. Wear your wedding day fragrance
throughout the honeymoon, anniversaries or special date nights. This makes
the fragrance special and ties it to memories. We love the fragrance
collections from Lollia, beautiful florals in the prettiest bottles you
have ever seen! Another great scent for the great day is Mermaid by
Mermaid Perfume. An all natural fragrance of orange blossom flowers and
coconuts. Also available in a sulfate free shampoo & conditioner to infuse
your locks.

A great way to prep your skin for the big day is drinking Miyu Beauty Tea
which hydrates your skin from the inside out:
A light and fruity blend of green rooibos, goji berries, rose petals and
snow pear essence – an irresistible way to hydrate parched complexions.

For optimal results, pair with hydrate mi beauty essence.

You’ll love it if:
you do not drink enough water, consume too many caffeinated beverages,
travel frequently, live in dry climates or just naturally have parched
skin.

What it does:
Green rooibos contains nine types of flavonoids to ward off
age-accelerating free radicals and essential electrolytes to help hydrate
from within.  Goji berries deliver a healthy dose of Vitamin C, necessary
for collagen production.
Blotting Papers are a must have for your clutch. These will be great to
use throughout the day to help with any access oil and keep you looking
matte in your photos.
Here are some of the beautiful brides we have had the pleasure of working with.

Styling Your Wedding Party

A trend that many brides are thinking of adapting, is styling their wedding party in different dresses. This can mean contrasting fabrics, colours or even styles - all of which create depth and individuality. Choosing mismatched dresses allows you to cater to each girls silhouette, style and even budget. There are just a few things to keep in mind when doing so:

1. Choose a colour palette for your wedding. Pick colours that compliment eachother, and ones that you can incorporate throughout your big day - flowers, shoes, accessories, groomsmen attire etc...

2. Decide on either short or long lengths. Having at least the same length in your mismatched dresses will still create a nice balance and look best in photos.

3. Once you start to find dresses you like, create a mood board. Cut out photos and place them together to see how you like the look of them as a group. Try on samples and ask to see fabric swatches.

If this is something you are interested in for your nuptials, we'd be more than happy to help. With an ample collection of dresses, the team at NWL is knowledgeable in each brands colour, fabric and style choices, making the process easy. See some inspirational photos below, as well as some of our most popular bridesmaid gowns in store.
